Nepal Harbor 8 of the 14 highest peaks in the world including, Annapurna I (8,091m), Manaslu (8,163m), Dhawalagiri (8,167m), Cho Oyu (8,201m), Makalu I (8,463m), Lotse I (8,501m), Kanchanjunga (8,598m) and Mount Everest (8,848m).

The 22 million people of Nepal represent more than 60 caste/ ethnic groups, thus exhibiting "unity in diversity" within a relatively small geographic area. Nepalese are proud of their independent sovereign state, never ruled by any outside power. Nepal is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. He was born at Lumbini which is located in the south near Nepal India border.
